Wheel Burrow Productions began when three students united to create a media project for submission. They naturally gravitated to the environmental topic, and to each other. As it began to take shape and expand, more and more people took such an interest, that a plethora of ideas were explored in the creation of this project. We aimed to find out how to apply natural methods to construction techniques, and we were delighted to have had such a good response from the community of Brighton. There are many to thank for their support of the project and we offer this space as a thank you.
One of the greatest challenges we faced was to pick a project title, film title, and production team title. ‘Habitare’ was chosen as a title for the project as it lends itself well to feelings of natural living space. ‘Making Good’ is a builder's term for essentially finishing a job well, we've taken this as the title for our film to imply that people are making good decisions in their homes. After various bouts of word play, ‘Wheel Burrow Productions’ was chosen as the team name, as its metaphorical projection is that natural construction materials and methods are out there.
